There are times when it can seem very hard to cope with life’s difficulties and challenges.


Individual TherapySuch difficulties can include:

  • Persistent feelings of dissatisfaction
  • Suffering the pain of loss or bereavement
  • Loneliness, moodiness
  • Sadness, depression, feelings of failure, stress or anxiety
  • Disordered eating, problems with drugs or alcohol
  • Problems with anger
  • Feeling out of control
  • Panic


During these times, it is especially important not to be isolated. Even the warmest of communities may not be able to offer the help that is needed. Being able to access the best help when you need to is one of the main reasons to make use of professional counselling. In this setting, the boundaries of safety and confidentiality make it more likely that individuals will recover from their difficulties and go on to create more fulfilling lives.


We provide regular individual sessions with a therapist. In a secure and confidential setting you can explore your goals, thoughts and feelings with your therapist. Each session lasts 50 minutes. Your therapist will work with you to make sense of long-standing patterns of thinking and behaviour and support you until you get the change you need.
